Justin was inspired to become an engineer after reading the true story of William Kamkwamba, a young boy in Malawi who built a working windmill from scrap materials to bring electricity and water to his village during a devastating drought.
William’s story showed Justin that engineering isn’t just about building things—it’s about using creativity, determination, and whatever resources you have to solve real-world problems and help others.
